My name is Alexandria Lynn Porter AKA Tic Tac. I live in Washington State with my Mom, Dad and ten year old brother Jake. I am 13 years old and I am an 8th grader. I am a very self-motivated person and keep an A average in school. My favorite class is Leadership. This class has enabled me to become a better leader, assist with school events and help other students when they are in need. I surround myself with a great group of friends and my best friend is Ashley Newton. I spend most of my spare time dancing. When I am not dancing, I love doing arts and crafts. My favorite craft is painting 3D movie theater glasses and giving them to my friends and family as a fun gift.
I started dancing when I was three years old. My first hip hop class was when I was five and I was immediately in love. I danced at a studio in Puyallup, Washington and trained in all genres of dance, i.e. ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical and hip hop. When I was ten, I decided that I wanted to train more in my number one love of dance, hip hop. I found Kolanie Marks at that time and the Connection Performing Arts Center, where I was able to train on a professional level in hip hop, still compete at a high level with tap and maintain my technique in other genres of dance. This is where my love for hip hop became a passion. In the past three years I have committed myself to traveling 3 hours a day 4-5 days a week to Mukilteo, Washington. I joined RNG Cru 2 1/2 years ago. These girls and Bailey have become like my family. They are my closest friends and I am so happy that I get to spend most my days of the week with them.

I come from a very large wonderful family and they are 100% supportive of my dancing and have enjoyed watching me grow as a leader, young teenager and dancer. Although they understand, it can be very difficult on them when I have to miss family gatherings or an event because I have a performance or rehearsal.
My dance journey throughout my young life has taught me a lot about people and life in general and I want to continue with my passion into adulthood. I will never give up on this journey and I would love to make dance a part of my career. Dance will always be a huge part of my life.
